I am a little obsessed with the TLC special "Extreme Couponing", which the network is turning into a weekly series in April. In the show, people use coupons and store specials to save an enormous amount of money on groceries, toiletries and household products.
I live in an area that does NOT have grocery stores that double coupons or offer store reward cards. However, using a few websites, I have found ways that even I can use coupons to my advantage. It mainly boils down to "stacking" - combining a store coupon (from Target or Walgrees, for example) with a manufacturer's coupon. Plus if the store also has the item on sale, you can really score some great deals! For me, I am finding great deals at Target, Walgreens and CVS.
So, here are my 3 new favorite websites for finding out where the best deals are and how to use coupons to my advantage:
The Krazy Coupon Lady - One of the co-founders of this site was featured on the "Extreme Couponing" show. "Like" their Facebook page and receive instant news in your feed!
Southern Savers - This site is great for creating shopping lists to match what is on sale with available coupons.
Totally Target - Like I need a reason to shop Target, but this site gives great advice and updates on how to score great deals at my favorite discount retalier! Their Facebook page also provides continuous updates on new deals.
